Police arrest suspect in connection with Concordia Univeristy bomb threats

(CP) - Montreal police have made an arrest in connection with yesterday's bomb threats at Concordia University.

Three university buildings downtown were evacuated after the school received bomb threats targeting Muslim students.

Classes were disrupted for hundreds as authorities searched for explosive devices.

None were found and the buildings reopened at 6 p-m.

Police say a possible suspect, a 47-year-old man, was taken into custody this morning at an apartment in the Cote-des-Neiges district and brought in for questioning.
