Province announces funding for Paquetville Health Centre
The province says it's spending more than half-a-million dollars to upgrade the Paquetville Health Centre.
Justice and Public Safety Minister Denis Landry announced the $522,000 in funding on Friday.
The Bathurst East-Nepisiguit-Saint-Isidore MLA made the announcement on behalf of Health Minister Victor Boudreau.
Officials say the money will be used to add 1,400 square feet to the centre and to renovate 2,000 square feet of the existing building.
Construction should be completed in December, and the investments are expected to increase the centre's life span by 20 years.
