Province announces members of task force reviewing rising workers compensation premiums
Members of a task force put together to examine rising workers' compensation business premiums have been announced by the provincial government.
The group will be chaired by Newfoundland-based lawyer Dennis Browne and includes WorksafeNB board members, representatives from unions and business groups.
The review is expected to take at least six months.
Labour minister Donald Arseneault says the province has been asked to provide more benefits to the program but adds some of the problems need to be addressed first.
