Province launches on-line game to improve financial literacy
The New Brunswick government has launched a new web-based trivia game to try to improve financial literacy in the province.
The Financial and Consumer Services Commission says the game called Fortune is available for free and is aimed at both children and adults.
It features trivia questions on topics such as saving, smart spending and fighting fraud and allows New Brunswickers to test their money smarts and compete against their friends and other players across the province.
Players can also compete for prizes in a special kickoff contest that offers weekly draws, along with first-, second- and third-place prizes.
