R.C.M.P. investigating series of suspicious fires on Tobique First Nation

The RCMP says it's investigating a series of suspicious fires on the Tobique First Nation in New Brunswick.

Police say no one was injured in what they have determined were related fires early yesterday morning.

The Mounties say when officers responded to reports of a structure fire, they found two newly built homes as well as a couch on a nearby lawn ablaze.

One house was destroyed and the other was severely damaged but flames from the couch were contained and did not spread.
