RCMP arrest five, seize drugs & counterfeit money in Scoudouc
Police say five people have been arrested and drugs and counterfeit money were seized after a search of a home in Scoudouc on Wednesday.
Officers from the Shediac and Sackville detachments of the Southeast District RCMP executed the search warrant just after 6:30 p.m.
RCMP say they seized counterfeit American money and a variety of items they believe were purchased with counterfeit American $100 bills.
Police say a small amount of what is believed to be crystal meth, as well as stolen property were also seized during the search.
RCMP say three women, aged 55, 31 and 24 and two men, aged 55 and 32 were taken into custody and later released.
All 5 suspects are from Scoudouc and are scheduled to appear in Moncton Provincial Court on September 13.
