RCMP investigating fatal pedestrian collision
RCMP say a 60-year-old man from Tremblay is dead after he was struck by a vehicle on New year's Eve.
Northeast District RCMP officers responded to the crash on Route 315 around 11:00 p.m.
Police believe the man was walking along the road towards his home when he was struck by a southbound car.
RCMP say he died at the scene as a result of his injuries while the driver of the vehicle was not injured.
Police say the investigation is ongoing and they have not released the deceased man's name or any information on possible charges.
