RCMP release new photo of missing woman

The West District RCMP is releasing a new photo of a woman missing from St. Stephen since July 8.

Police say the photo of 68-year-old Edith Lorraine Williams was taken around 10:30 a.m. on July 7 by a surveillance camera on Budd Avenue, near the walking trail in downtown St. Stephen.

RCMP say the last known sighting of the woman was around 8:00 p.m. near the Civic Centre and she was reported missing shorlty after midnight on July 8.

Edith Lorraine Williams, who often goes by her middle name, is described as being 5'6" tall and approximately 140 lbs with short salt and pepper coloured hair and blue eyes.

Police say she was last seen wearing dark shorts, a grey t-shirt and sneakers.

RCMP say she is known to regularly walk in the town and will often collect bottles at the side of the road.

She has a medical condition that may cause her to be disoriented.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Edith Lorraine Williams, or who may have seen her since July 7 is asked to call the St. Stephen RCMP.
