RCMP seek person of interest in connection to murder of Candice Kennedy-Faguy

The New Brunswick RCMP's Major Crime Unit is seeking help from the public to locate a woman who is a person of interest in connection with the investigation into the murder of Candice Kennedy-Faguy.

Police say they want to speak to 43-year-old Amanda McFarlane of Moncton.

RCMP describe McFarlane as standing 5'2" tall and weighing about 120 lbs with brown hair and brown eyes.

The body of 35-year-old Candice Kennedy-Faguy was discovered on September 26, 2018 in a vehicle on West Lane in Moncton.

Police say 44-year-old Claude Blanchard is charged with first-degree murder in her death.

The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information on the whereabouts of Amanda McFarlane or the death of Candice Kennedy-Faguy is asked to contact the RCMP or call Crime Stoppers.
