Recommendations on legal marijuana expected by September
We should have a better idea by September about how the province may distribute and sell legalized marijuana.
That's when a provincial working group looking at the issue is expected to provide recommendations to government.
At the same time, they'll provide an interim report on things like the minimum age to legally possess marijuana and what other restrictions should be imposed in addition to federal regulations.
The working group is made up of senior officials from three government departments, as well as NB Liquor and Opportunities NB.
