Rimouski snaps Acadie-Bathurst Titan's win streak

The Acadie-Bathurst Titan capped off the weekend with a win and a loss.

On Friday, March 4th, the Rimouski Oceanic edged snapped the Titan's  eight game win streak with a 3 - 2 overtime victory.

Titan goaltender Reilly Pickard made 24 saves while Antoine Morand and Christophe Boivin each found the back of the net for the Titan.

Morand and Zachary Malatesta were named first and second stars of the game respectively.

The Titan turned things around on Sunday, March 5th, with a 2 - 1 win over the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada.

Titan goals by Jordan Maher and Vladirmir Kuznetsov while netminder Anthony Dumont-Bouchard stopped 24 shots. 

Dumont-Bouchard, Malatesta, and  Morand were named first, second, and third stars of the game respectively.

With two regular season home games to go the Titan sit sixth in the league, four points behind the Armada, and have already clinched a playoff spot.

They're in Saint John on Tuesday, March 7th, playing the first place Sea Dogs before returning to the KC Irving Centre on Friday, March 10th, to take on  the 13th place Halifax Mooseheads.
