Roses Radiothon aims to raise $100K for local oncology clinic
Today is the Roses Radiothon, a day to make a donation to help improve the lives of cancer patients right here in our region.
This year the radiothon aims to raise $100,000 for the purchase of electronic chairs and electronic pressure monitors for the Oncology Clinic at the Chaleur Regional Hospital.
The clinic has had over 21,000 patient visits and administered more than 9,300 chemotherapy treatments since it opened in 2006.
