Saint John man pleads guilty to robbing 6 banks

Police in Saint John, N.B., say a 56-year-old man has pleaded guilty to robbing six banks in the city.

Michael David Graham of Saint John appeared in court on Tuesday, April 24th to be sentenced for robbing the Bayview Credit Union on March 31.

Instead, Sgt. Charles Breen of the Saint John Police Force says five more robbery charges were laid against Graham for bank robberies between Oct. 28 and Jan. 5.

Breen says Graham pleaded guilty to the additional charges, and is scheduled to be sentenced for all six robberies on May 10.
