Saint-Quentin company fined for violating Occupational Health and Safety Act
A Saint-Quentin company has been fined $4,800 for failing to ensure the safety of its employees.
Daniel Choinard Excavation pleaded guilty to one charge under the Occupational Health and Safety Act on Wednesday.
A piece of equipment ended up it the ditch on Route 180 back in 2017 because the brakes on the rig were not functioning properly.
The Crown had said the company knew the brakes were not working properly and failed to fix them.
