Several N.B. communities to vote in by-election next month

Voters in several New Brunswick communities will head to the polls next month to fill a number of council vacancies.

Bathurst and Pointe-Verte each have one council seat up for grabs while voters in Grande-Anse will elected a mayor and one councillor.

Nominations open Friday, April 6th and will close at 2pm on Friday, April 20th.

The by-election is salted for May 14th.

Provincial by-elections:

Atholville - councillor, Ward 3;

Bas-Caraquet - 1 mayor, 2 councillors at large;

Bathurst - 1 councillor;

Dieppe - 1 councillor at large;

Florenceville-Bristol - 1 councillor, Ward 2;

Fredericton Junction - 1 mayor, 1 councillor;

Hartland - mayor;

Kedgwick - councillor, Ward 2;

Nackawic - 1 councillor;

Pointe-Verte - 1 councillor;

Saint-Andre - 1 councillor;

Saint-Leolin - 1 mayor, 1 councillor;

Sainte-Marie-Saint-Raphael - 1 councillor;

St. George - 2 councillors.
