Single-vehicle crash in New Brunswick claims lives of three people from Ontario

Three people from Ontario are dead following a single-vehicle accident in New Brunswick.

RCMP say the accident happened shortly before 11:30 a.m. Monday in Prince William, about 30 kilometres west of Fredericton.

Police believe the vehicle was travelling eastbound when it drove across the median and went off the other side of the highway down a steep cliff, landing in a ravine.

Three people in the vehicle, an 83-year-old man, a 91-year-old woman and a 58-year-old woman, died at the scene as a result of their injuries.

Police say the cause of the crash is still under investigation.
