Snow possible Saturday night and Monday in New Brunswick
Environment Canada says a couple of low pressure systems could affect the Maritimes this weekend and early next week.
Forecasters are calling for snow ahead of the first system to spread across southern and central New Brunswick late on Saturday, with the potential to bring 10 cm of snow overnight, especially over the Fundy region.
The weather agency is also tracking a second system which will arrive on our shores on Monday.
Environment Canada says snow would spread throughout the province during the day and increase in intensity, bringing the highest snow amounts over southern portions of New Brunswick.
Forecasters say it is too early to accurately predict snowfall amounts, but they warn accumulations could be significant enough to disrupt transportation.
Any change in the track or intensity of the system as it approaches the Maritimes could change this scenario and any associated impacts.
