Stolen boat located; Saint-Paul man charged


Police say a 29-year-old man from Saint-Paul has been arrested and charged in connection with the theft of a boat and trailer earlier this month.

RCMP say both items were taken from a residence on Beersville Black Road in Beersville early in the morning of June 5.

Officers located the stolen boat and arrested a man in connection with the theft on June 27.

He was held in custody and appeared in Moncton Provincial Court on June 28.

Police say Nicholas Beers-Michaud has been charged with possession of property obtained by crime and breach of probation.

He was released on conditions and is due back in court on August 2.
