Stolen vehicle found torched in Dalhousie Junction: RCMP
Mounties are investigating after a stolen vehicle from Québec was found torched in Dalhousie Junction.
Police say the white 1991 Toyota Tacoma was reported stolen in Pointe-à-la-Croix, Qué., around 7 a.m. AT last Thursday.
It was found destroyed by fire on NB Power property Blair Malcolm Road in Dalhousie Junction around 8:30 a.m. the same day.
Police say the vehicle was also seen on Chemin Drapeau in Balmoral around 30 minutes earlier.
Investigators are looking for a man, believed to be in his early 20s, who they say fled from the burning vehicle, heading towards the cement plant on Blair Malcolm Road.
The man — described as about 5'7" tall with short hair and wearing a blue shirt — was also spotted around the Leblanc Street, Degroot Road and Mallet Street areas of Dalhousie Junction.
