Three people injured in head-on crash on Acadian Peninsula

Three people were injured in a head-on crash on the Acadian Peninsula over the weekend.

The collision happened on Saturday morning on Highway 11 in Covedell, between Neguac and Tabusintac.

Police say a 20 year old Tracadie man is in critical condition after the car he was driving struck a pickup truck when it crossed the centre line.

The occupants of the truck, an 18 year old man and a 17 year old woman received minor injuries.

Police say roads conditions were good at the time of the collision.

The investigation continues.
