Time running out for Acadie-Bathurst Titan players to prove their worth for next season

Acadie-Bathurst Titan head coach Mario Durocher says time's running out for his players to prove they deserve a spot on next season's roster.

The Titan has already been bumped from the playoffs and has just three games to go in the regular season.

Durocher says he's not asking for anything complicated, just hard work.

The coach is disappointed in his squad's 10 - 1 loss on Sunday to the Moncton Wildcats, blaming it on a lack of effort.

Durocher says the Titan had the power play advantage, but that Moncton ended up scoring four short-handed goals.

He says the Titan was second on the puck throughout the game and that his team paid the price.
