Tracadie council bans citizen from attending meetings

A Tracadie man has been banned from attending city council meetings for six months.

Councillors voted to ban Louis-Paul Brideau on Monday for what the Acadie-Nouvelle reports as 'disorderly behaviour' and 'derogatory comments' made at a meeting in February.

Mayor Denis Losier says he was against the move but says he will respect his council's decision.

Losier says it's the first time a citizen has been banned from the meetings.
