Trial date for Eel River Dundee man charged with murder to be set in April
An Eel River Dundee man charged with murdering his common-law spouse has waived his right to a preliminary inquiry.
Mounties charged 57-year-old Gilles Moreau with one count of first-degree murder after the remains of 54-year-old Brigitte Pelletier were discovered at his property over the summer.
The Tribune reports that Moreau has elected to be tried by judge alone.
A date for his trial is expected to be set on April 15th.
Moreau will remain in custody until then.
