US President Donald Trump has shattered decades of unwavering American neutrality on Jerusalem, declaring the sorely divided holy city as Israel's capital.
Trump insisted that after repeated peace failures, it is time for a new approach, starting with his decision to recognize Jerusalem as the seat of Israel's government and the city to which the U-S will relocate its embassy from Tel Aviv.
