Tugs help free stuck bulk carrier near Belledune
A large ship that became stuck on a shoal near Belledune Wednesday has been freed.
A pair of tug-boats helped free the S-B-I Carioca when the tide rose last night.
The Transportation Safety Board says none of the 23 crew members were injured and that the vessel was not leaking.
Their investigation continues.
The bulk carrier is carrying 65 thousand tonnes of petcoke, a byproduct of the oil refining process.
