Two Chaleur region communities to cast ballots in by-election this month
Two communities in the Chaleur region are voting in a byelection later this month.
Vying for a seat on Petit-Rocher's council, 19-year-old Alexandre Aube wants to get more young people involved in the community while Annick Noel hopes her business background will be an asset to the village.
Matial McLaughlin, a retired federal employee is looking to make council more open and transparent.
Meanwhile, Lucien Doucet seeks a seat on Nigadoo council and says he has ideas to improve recreation.
Citizens will cast ballots on Monday, October 23rd.
