Two charged in last summer's fatal motorcycle collision in Saint John

The Saint John Police Force say two people have been charged in connection with a fatal motorcycle crash in the city last summer.

The collision happened around 5 a.m. on July 9th on Loch Lomond Road, claiming the life of Scott Robertson.

Police arrested the two west Saint John residents on Thursday.

46-year-old John Ford appeared in provincial court on Friday and was charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing death, failing to stop at the scene of an accident, and public mischief.

He's been remanded into custody until a court appearance February 15th.

43-year-old Ann Mary Savoy is charged with public mischief, obstructing justice, and perjury.

She was released on conditions and is scheduled to return to court on March 11th.
