U.S. publication ranks Chaleur Regional Hospital in Bathurst among best in country
The Chaleur Regional Hospital in Bathurst is being counted among the best hospitals in the country according to a U.S. publication.
Newsweek ranks the hospital 53rd in the country and best in New Brunswick.
The Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton and the Miramichi Regional Hospital were the only other two New Brunswick facilities to make the list, pegged at number 59 and 83 respectively.
Vitalite Health Network president and CEO Gilles Lanteigen says health care is not always easy and that the recognition is a motivation for the professionals who work hard every day.
Lanteigne also credits employees at the network's other hospitals, saying they directly contributed to the success of the facilities that were ranked by the publication.
