Up to 10cm of snow expected Wednesday for Chaleur Region

Looks like Mother Nature isn't finished with the Maritimes just yet.

Environment Canada says a significant early spring storm is expected to bring rain and snow to much of New Brunswick on Wednesday.

In the Chaleur Region, snow is expected to begin Wednesday morning and continue into the evening, resulting in an accumulation of up to 10cm.

A mix of snow and rain is expected in the southern part of the province Wednesday afternoon, with snowfall amounts in excess of 15cm expected.

Precipitation will end Wednesday evening when the system tracks into the Gulf of St. Lawrence.
