Visitor restrictions lifted at Chaleur Regional Hospital

Visitor restrictions have been lifted at the Chaleur Regional Hospital in Bathurst.

The restrictions were first put into place on 4th West (Extended Care Unit) due to symptoms of gastroenteritis among patients and employees.

They were later expanded to include 4th East (Palliative Care Unit).

The restrictions were lifted on 4th West late last week, and on 4th East as of Friday.

People with gastroenteritis symptoms are still asked not to visit inpatients at the hospital.
