Vitalite Health Network calls for meeting with minister on third-party services management deal
The Vitalite Health Network isn't giving up its fight to keep control of housekeeping, food, and patient transport services.
The province is looking to hand over management of those services to French company Sodexo, a move expected to save more than $25 million over ten years.
But network CEO Gilles Lanteigne says Vitalite can do better, approximately $3 million more over the same time period.
The network is calling for a meeting with New Brunswick's health minister to disclose the current status of the deal with Sodexo and for an update on anticipated savings expected to be generated by third-party management.
