Walmart Canada: ten-at-a-time rule stems from several customer complaints

Walmart says a decision by its Bathurst location to limit the number of students in the store during lunch hour stems from several complaints.

Senior director of public affairs Steeve Azoulay says Walmart received several complaints from customers about the rowdy behaviour of students and that the store worked closely with the administration of nearby ESN to respond to concerns.

The decision to only allow access to ten students at a time has been in effect since Monday.

Azoulay says those causing a disturbance will be referred to police.
