Weekend win earns local boxer the right to represent NB at Canadian National Boxing Championships

A local boxer with the Spartan Boxing and Fitness club is proving age is just a number by winning the right to represent New Brunswick at the Canadian National Championships next month.

19 year old Cooper Scott defeated 30 year old Kevin Tremblay, of the Fists Boxing Club, in the main event of a 15 match fight card held in Moncton on Saturday, March 18th.

Scott received the only unanimous decision of the night.

The Canadian National Championships will take place in Quebec City the week of April 24th.
