The Acadie-Bathurst Titan extended its win-streak to eight games on Tuesday night with a 6 - 1 victory over the Charlottetown Islanders.

Captain Jeff Viel found the back of the Islanders' net twice, while Samuel L'Italien, Ethan Crossman, Noah Dobson, and Liam Murphy chipped in with a goal-a-piece.

Viel, Adam Holwell, and Olivier Galipeau were named First, Second, and Third Stars of the Game respectively.

Head coach Mario Pouliot says the win a good test for the playoffs.

Pouliot says Charlottetown is a tough team that forced the Titan to play hard and make quick decisions under pressure.

During the playoffs, Pouliot says his men will have play tight defense, be well prepared to make key plays under pressure, and battle for every inch of ice.
