Zenabis receives green light to increase cannabis production
An Atholville cannabis producer has been given the green light to grow more pot.
Zenabis announced Monday that it has received approval by Health Canada to operate ten new production rooms.
That will allow the company to produce up to 32,100 kg of dried cannabis each year, a 44 per cent increase.
That's good news for job-seekers.
The company employs 360 people in Atholville but with an expected production increase, Zenabis spokesperson May Nazair says that could surpass 400 workers.
