Keith Urban's "Ripcord" Goes Platinum

Keith Urban has added another platinum album to his collection.

His 2016 release, "Ripcord" was certified platinum by the RIAA after the project climbed back into the Number One spot on the Billboard Country Album Chart in the last two weeks.

Keith has also made history with this album - he is now one of only two country artists whose 2016 albums were certified platinum by the RIAA, and it also places Keith as the second country artist to currently have every album certified platinum or multi-platinum (artists with nine or more platinum releases).

Ripcord also has four consecutive chart-topping singles, "John Cougar, John Deere, John 3:16," "Break On Me," "Wasted Time" and "Blue Ain't Your Color"

To date, Keith Urban has a total of 22 number one singles, and could get his 23rd with his latest release, "The Fighter," featuring Carrie Underwood.
