LUKE BRYAN OPENS UP ABOUT HIS LATE BROTHER IN "LIVING EVERY DAY" SPECIAL. (WATCH)

On Monday night, Good Morning America’s Robin Roberts sat down with country superstar Luke Bryan at his family farm for the television special “Living Every Day”.

Fans got a deeper look inside the tragedies Luke and his family have suffered, starting with the death of his brother.

"I was set to move to Nashville when I was 19.  I had it all in line and had an apartment.  Just before I moved, my brother was killed in a car accident.  So that totally derailed and postponed my plans."

Instead of Nashville, he went to Georgia Southern University and graduated with a business degree.  That's also where he met his future wife, Caroline.

"My dad could tell that I was one foot in the door and one foot out the door and he said, 'This life will always be here.'  He was really adamant about me chasing my dreams just based on what he had dealt with."

And just as his career got going, tragedy struck again.

"It was April 6th, 2007, and I get to play the Grand Ole Opry for the first time.  That night, little did I know would be the last photo together of [me] and my sister.  She passed away a month later.”
