Ariana Grande appears to be still processing the death of her ex-boyfriend, rapper Mac Miller.
Among a series of tweets on Thursday, the pop star asked: “can i pls have one okay day. just one. pls.”
She added: “i’m so tired. pls.”

In a response to a tweet from a concerned fan, Grande explained: “it’s just been a tough month. i’m trying to get my work done and get back to normal and it’s hard and i’m human and tired."
Grande apologized to fans for sharing the way she feels. “ur angels in my life,” she wrote. “sorry i let u in or worried u. i shouldn’t have tweeted. i kno better.”
She also tweeted: “ty for loving me sm i do not deserve it.”
Grande was hit hard by Miller’s death on Sept. 7 of a suspected overdose. She paid tribute to him on Instagram a week later.
“i adored you from the day i met you when i was nineteen and i always will. i can’t believe you aren’t here anymore,” Grande shared in the caption. “I really can’t wrap my head around it.
“we talked about this. so many times. i’m so mad, i’m so sad i don’t know what to do. you were my dearest friend. for so long. above anything else.
“i’m so sorry i couldn’t fix or take your pain away. i really wanted to. the kindest, sweetest soul with demons he never deserved. i hope you’re okay now. rest.”
This summer, Grande spoke about the anxiety she lives with following last year’s deadly bombing outside her concert in Manchester. She told Vogue UK: “I don’t think I’ll ever know how to talk about it and not cry.”
Grande also performed at the funeral of Aretha Franklin, who died in August.
