The 44th president of the U.S. shared a list of 44 songs on his Summer Playlist 2019 – and it includes tracks from a trio of Canadian artists.
Barack Obama tweeted Saturday that it is “a sampling of what Michelle and I have been listening to — some new, some old, some fast, some slow.”
No. 1 on the list is “Too Good” by Drake ft. Rihanna; No. 15 is “Best Part” by Daniel Caesar and H.E.R.; and No. 17 is “Señorita” by Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello.
(Also making the cut is “Can U Believe” by Robin Thicke, who is at least half-Canadian.)
Obama’s playlist also included “Old Town Road” by Lil Nas X ft. Billy Ray Cyrus as well as songs by Beyoncé and Jay-Z, Lizzo, The Black Keys and John Legend.
