A benefit concert for Kids Help Phone headlined by Demi Lovato and scheduled for Sunday in Toronto has been cancelled.
Lovato is recovering from a reported drug overdose on Monday.
The show, which also included a performance by Jason Mraz, was set to take place at Echo Beach.
Organizers said tickets will be refunded.
“Our thoughts are with Demi Lovato and her family," read a tweet from RBC. “We remain committed to @KidsHelpPhone and we believe that music has the power to heal.”
Originally, the venue was set to host a Mraz concert on July 29. That show was cancelled and fans who bought tickets were given refunds and offered a chance to purchase tickets to the benefit featuring Lovato.
“Due to circumstances beyond our control, we will not be playing in Toronto this weekend,” Mraz tweeted on Wednesday. “My sincerest apologies to my fans and to the fans of Demi Lovato. We wish her good health & recovery.”
