Just as she promised, Beyoncé and her BeyGOOD organization took to her hometown of Houston, Texas to help victims impacted by Hurricane Harvey.
Over the weekend, the 36-year-old pop star visited St. Johns United Methodist Church, which just so happens to be the same church she attended as a child, to greet survivors, serve food and offer some touching words.

Additional folks in attendance included Blue Ivy, Destiny's Child member Michelle Williams, Beyoncé's mother, Tina Lawson; and other members from her BeyGood charity team.
Expect to see Bey continue her initiative to help those impacted by the devastating effects of Harvey in an upcoming hour-long telethon called Hand in Hand: A Benefit for Hurricane Harvey Relief. Alongside names like Oprah Winfrey, Julia Roberts, George Clooney and others, the pop titan will urge viewers to donate during the broadcast, which is scheduled to air Sep. 12 at 8 PM ET across major networks.
