Chris Brown Denies He Raped Woman In Paris

Chris Brown said late Tuesday he did not sexually assault a woman in a Paris hotel room last week.

On Instagram, the R&B singer captioned an image of the words “This B!tch Lyin’” with: “I WANNA MAKE IT PERFECTLY CLEAR...... THIS IS FALSE AND A WHOLE LOT OF CAP (sic) NNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEVVVVVVVVVVEEEEEERRRRRR!!!!!! FOR MY DAUGHTER AND MY FAMILY THIS IS SO DISPRESPECTFUL (sic) AND IS AGAINST MY CHARACTER AND MORALS!!!!!”

Brown was released from police custody late Tuesday but authorities said the investigation into the woman’s allegations will continue.

He was arrested Monday after a woman filed a criminal complaint against him and two other men, one of which is believed to be Brown’s bodyguard.

The French edition of Closer published what it said was an exclusive interview with the alleged victim. Identified as a 24-year-old model, she said that after a night out with Brown she got into his car with another woman and went back to his suite at the Mandarin Oriental hotel.

She said there were at least 15 other people in the suite, where she saw marijuana and cocaine, and she claimed Brown’s bodyguard took everyone’s phones.

When she went to the bathroom, she alleged "Chris Brown followed me and grabbed me by the right arm. He took me inside a tiny room resembling a closet. He closed the door… It went on for 25 to 30 minutes.

“It was brutal and violent. He was being threatening and aggressive. I was scared.”

The woman alleged she was then “dragged” into a bedroom and raped by Brown’s friend and his bodyguard.

“I was crying. I was in shock. I took my phone and I left,” she told Closer. She filed a complaint two days later.

Reps for Brown have not yet commented publicly on the allegations.

The 39-year-old R&B star pleaded guilty to assaulting then-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009. He was arrested last July in Florida in connection with an incident involving a photographer at a Tampa club in 2017. In February 2017, Brown's ex Karrueche Tran was granted a five-year restraining order against the singer after she alleged that he threatened to kill her. A year earlier, Brown was charged after a woman called police to claim he threatened her with a gun.

In 2013, Brown was arrested for assault in Washington, D.C. after an altercation outside a hotel when two men tried to take a photo with him. The singer allegedly made a homophobic comment and then punched one of the men.

Last month, Brown was charged with owning an exotic animal – a capuchin monkey – in Los Angeles.
