Canadian country star Dallas Smith announced Monday morning he’s embarking on the Side Effects Tour this fall.
The cross-Canada run will start Oct. 12 in Halifax and stop in 26 cities before wrapping up on Nov. 18 in Abbotsford, B.C.
Smith tweeted: "I've been waiting on this for months! Finally! Can't wait to take this party on the road! "
Supporting Smith on the tour will be Lauren Alaina, James Barker Band, Cold Creek County, Michael Ray and The Cadillac Three.
Tickets for most shows go on sale Aug. 25.
Side Effects, which was released last year, made the B.C. native the first Canadian country artist since 1995 to have three consecutive No. 1 singles – the title track and "Autograph" followed his 2014 chart-topper "Wastin' Gas."

“The continued support is something that I don’t take for granted and something that will never be lost on both my family and I,” Smith said in an April release.
“The quality of country music that Canada is producing right now is something we as a whole should be enormously proud of.”
