Canadian country singer Dean Brody received the Jeff Walker Global Country Artist Award from the Country Music Association this past weekend in Australia.
The award recognizes “outstanding achievements by a Country Music artist signed outside of the United States,” according to a release.
Brody, a B.C. native, was presented with the honour at the CMC Rocks QLD festival in Queensland on March 17. Other stars at the event included Luke Bryan and Kelsea Ballerini.
