Demi Lovato will be back in front of cameras on the upcoming final season of Will & Grace.
According to EW, the 27-year-old pop star will play Jenny, “a guarded gal who comes into the life of Will in an unexpected way.” Lovato will appear in three episodes.
On Instagram, Lovato shared a photo of herself on the Will & Grace set that she captioned: “Will & Grace & Demi.”
Canada’s Eric McCormack, who plays Will, also shared a photo of the pair on social media.

During its two runs, Will & Grace has had several music stars as guests. Elton John, Jennifer Lopez, Daryl Hall and John Oates, Barry Manilow, Janet Jackson and Cher played themselves (Cher also appeared as God in one episode) but Madonna, Britney Spears played characters. Singer Harry Connick Jr. also had a recurring role as Grace's boyfriend and then husband.
Lovato hasn’t had a recurring role on the small screen since season 5 of Glee in 2013-2014. She made her TV debut on Barney & Friends and played the lead in the Disney series As the Bell Rings and Sonny with a Chance.
She also starred with the Jonas Brothers in 2008’s made-in-Ontario TV movie Camp Rock and its 2010 sequel.
Lovato has been out of the spotlight since a near-fatal drug overdose in July 2018.
