Drake and David Bowie were among the big winners at last night’s BRIT Awards. The Canadian rapper accepted the award for International Male Solo Artist. Bowie was awarded with both British Male Solo Artist and MasterCard British Album of the Year for his 2016 album Blackstar.
Drake wasn’t on hand to accept his award as his Birmingham, U.K. show clashed with the awards. He accepted the award via video.
Other top prizes went to singer-songwriter Rag’N’Bone Man, who took away awards for British Breakthrough Act and Critics’ Choice Award. International Female Solo Artist went to Beyoncé, British Artist Video went to One Direction for “History” and British Single of the Year was taken home by Little Mix for “Shout Out to My Ex”.
The BRITs were held at London’s O2 arena and featured performances by Katy Perry and Little Mix. Watch Drake’s thank you speech below:
