Drake, Migos Postpone 2 Concerts In Miami

Drake scrapped a pair of shows this weekend in Miami due to illness.

Only hours before Friday’s Aubrey & the Three Migos Tour stop at the American Airlines Arena, the venue announced it was being rescheduled to Nov. 13 and Saturday’s show was bumped to Nov. 14.

The announcement blamed “circumstances beyond our control.”

Fans were fuming.

Drake later explained that he had fallen ill and had been in hospital.

On July 24, with two days to go, the tour launch was postponed until Aug. 10. This bumped three Toronto shows to Aug. 20, 21 and 22. On the morning of Aug. 20, though, promoters announced that “due to circumstances beyond our control,” the first show was being postponed.

Earlier this month, Drake pulled out of a scheduled appearance at a Toronto International Film Festival screening only hours before.

The Toronto rap superstar cancelled an October 2016 concert in Toronto due to an ankle injury and, this past May, scrapped a June 7th show at the Après Noir supper club near Toronto. It has been rescheduled for Nov. 29.

In 2017, Drake’s Boy Meets World UK tour was postponed due to “unforeseen production setbacks.”
