Drake Replaces DJ Khaled As Festival Headliner
Drake surprised the crowd at London’s Wireless Festival on Sunday night, after replacing DJ Khaled as the headlining act.
DJ Khaled was scheduled to appear on the closing night of the event, but cancelled last-minute allegedly due to “travel issues,” according to a statement from the festival.
After fans spotted security wearing Scorpion passes, rumours began to circulate before the Canadian rapper burst onto the stage dressed in a black OVO-branded soccer jersey with a Union Jack wing. Drake performed recent hits such as “Nice For What,” “I’m Upset,” and closed with “God’s Plan.”
Other performances on the festival's Sunday roster included Rick Ross, Giggs, Rae Sremmurd and more.
