Foo Fighters, Metallica and Ryan Adams will join members of Soundgarden, Temple of the Dog and Audioslave early next year to celebrate the legacy of the late Chris Cornell.
I Am The Highway: A Tribute to Chris Cornell will take place Jan. 16 at The Forum in Los Angeles. It will be hosted by Jimmy Kimmel.
Tickets for the show go on sale Friday and include a copy of Cornell’s self-titled retrospective album. Proceeds will benefit the Chris and Vicky Cornell Foundation and the Epidermolysis Bullosa Medical Research Foundation.
Cornell died by suicide in a Detroit hotel room in May 2017 after performing with his band Soundgarden. He was 52.
The rocker's widow this month filed a lawsuit accusing his doctor of over-prescribing “dangerous mind-altering controlled substances.”
