Jonas Brothers Kick Off 'Happiness Begins Tour' In Miami

“Happiness Begins in Miami!”

This is what Joe Jonas declared as he and brothers Kevin and Nick descended onto the stage at American Airlines Arena on Wednesday night to kick off their Happiness Begins Tour with “Rollercoaster.”

Among those in the crowd to witness the Jonas Brothers’ first concert in six years were their parents Paul and Denise and younger brother Frankie as well as their wives Danielle Jonas, Sophie Turner and Priyanka Chopra.

The setlist was a mixture of old and new Jonas Brothers. After playing 2007’s “S.O.S.” they did “Cool,” the Happiness Begins single for which they shot a video in Miami Beach earlier this year. “When You Look Me in the Eyes” and “Fly With Me” are among the other songs that made the cut.

Halfway through the show, Nick performed his solo hit “Jealous” and Joe performed his DNCE hit “Cake By The Ocean.” There was also a medley of early tracks “Mandy,” “Paranoid,” “Got Me Going Crazy” and “Play My Music.”

One big surprise was the appearance of Sebastián Yatra, Daddy Yankee and Natti Natasha to perform their hit “Runaway,” which features the Jonas Brothers.

The show ended with fan faves “Love Bug” and “Year 3000” – and an encore in which the guys played “Burnin’ Up” and “Sucker.”

The Jonas Brothers bring the tour to Toronto on Aug. 23 and 24 and Nov. 26 and will hit up Vancouver on Oct. 11 and Montreal on Nov. 27. The trek is scheduled to wrap up at the end of February in Paris.
